Introduction

やや旧式化したB型砲の余剰装備に全面改修を実施、両用砲に換装した戦時改修if駆逐艦主砲です。
現実的な対空戦闘に対応するため、最大仰角、装填機構の換装、高射装置との連動等、従来のB型砲とは全く別の駆逐艦用兵装に昇華しています。特II型以降、初春型、白露型などでの装備運用を想定して改修され、両用砲として対空戦闘も可能です。

A what-if remodel of what would happen if the remaining semi-obsolete Type-B guns underwent an extensive mid-war upgrade and conversion into dual-purpose main guns for destroyers.
In order to deal with the realities of anti-air combat, maximum elevation, and loading mechanisms have been improved. With the combination of a fire director, this Type-B gun has become an entirely new destroyer weapon.
It was meant to be equipped on the Special Type II, Special Type III, Hatsuharu-class, and Shiratsuyu-class after their upgrades. This dual-purpose gun is capable of anti-air combat.

Mechanics

Main Guns are the main armament used by surface ships. Their main stats are the "firepower" and "accuracy" . They are notably required to trigger all Artillery Spotting attacks as well as some Night Cut-Ins, notably the "Double Attack" (DA).

• Most main guns come with "Hidden Fit Bonuses/Penalties", especially larger ones.
• Small Caliber Main Guns bring some accuracy bonus against PT boats.

High-Angle Guns (sometimes "dual-purpose guns"), are anti-air focused guns, that can serve their main surface role, in addition to having extra AA stats.

• They are notably required in most AACI.
