日本海軍の残した防衛兵装を、接収艦再武装時に現地で艦載用に改装した独自兵装です。

A relatively simple and cheap dual-purpose gun that was mass-produced as a practical anti-air gun.
The miraculous destroyer that crossed the seas had this equipped as her forward gun when she was refitted.
This unique gun was locally modified for ship-borne use from defensive weapons left behind by the Imperial Japanese Navy and mounted on reparation ships during refitting.

Mechanics

Main Guns are the main armament used by surface ships. Their main stats are the "firepower" and "accuracy" . They are notably required to trigger all Artillery Spotting attacks as well as some Night Cut-Ins, notably the "Double Attack" (DA).

• Most main guns come with "Hidden Fit Bonuses/Penalties", especially larger ones.
• Small Caliber Main Guns bring some accuracy bonus against PT boats.

High-Angle Guns (sometimes "dual-purpose guns"), are anti-air focused guns, that can serve their main surface role, in addition to having extra AA stats.

• They are notably required in most AACI.
