Introduction

往年の名機、零式艦上戦闘機、通常「零戦」の後期性能向上型の戦闘爆撃タイプをさらにif改修、夜間攻撃装備や比較的精度の高い部隊間通信用の無線機を搭載した、夜間作戦用爆戦です。
拡張の限界まで来た零戦ではありますが、昼夜逆転生活で夜間作戦能力を高めた熟練搭乗員の駆る同機は、積極的な夜間作戦戦闘爆撃機として実戦投入可能です。

It is a bomber for night operations, made from a legendary plane of the past, the Type 0 carrier-based fighter, which is a what-if further modified late-performance improved fighter-bomber version of the normal "Zero Fighter", equipped with night attack equipment and a radio for relatively high-precision inter-unit communication.
Although the Zero Fighter has reached the limits of its expansion capabilities, this plane, flown by experienced pilots who have honed their nighttime operational capabilities by living a reversed day and night lifestyle, can be deployed in combat as an aggressive nighttime fighter-bomber.

Mechanics

Dive Bombers are one of the main types of plane used by CV(B/L). Their main role is to do damage during the Airstrike, with their "Dive Bombing" stat being the most important factor in this regard. Dive Bombers are additionally needed for dealing damage during day Shelling, especially for Aircraft Carrier Cut-Ins (CVCI).

They are vulnerable to shoot down during most Aerial Combat phases.
They bring some accuracy bonus against PT boats.
They cannot attack Installations unless they are Anti-Installation Dive Bombers.

Night Aircraft are planes that contribute to Carrier Night Air Attack damage.

Only Night Fighters, Night Torpedo Bombers, Night Dive Bombers are capable of actually enabling Carrier Night Air Attacks.
- Only those planes will have the full night damage modifiers.
A combination of those planes only can trigger CVNCI.

This plane has strong Anti-Air Resistance.
