Introduction

改良型の新型タービン機関です。
従来型タービンの各部素材を見直し構造強化を行なって、より高出力が可能となりました。
機動性が向上し、砲雷撃戦や、対空戦における回避率が向上します。

This is the improved version of the steam turbine engine.
The existing turbine's parts and materials have been revised for this new construction, making higher outputs possible.
This allows for even more evasion from torpedo attacks and air strikes.

Mechanics

Ship Speed can be increased to Fast, Fast+, or Fastest by using a combination of "Turbine" and "Boilers".

Updates History

• 2013-04-23: Implemented with initial game release
• 2017-01-10: Ability to increase ship speed added, became possible to equip in expansion slots

Trivia

So far the majority of ships in the game were equipped with a steam turbine power plant. The only exception being all submarines and IJN Kaiboukan (DE), being equipped with diesel instead, reflected by DE inability to equip any Engine Improvement.

• Type D Kaiboukan were however equipped with turbines, but cannot equip any as a game omission.
