Introduction

「九七艦攻」の後継機として開発された艦上攻撃機「天山」。
その改良後継型に、機上電探空六号の改良調整型と電波高度計などの夜間作戦機材を装備した、夜間雷撃可能な新鋭夜間作戦艦上攻撃機。
同機を装備した本部隊は、高い技量と豊かな指導力を兼ね備えた村田隊長率いる、日本海軍最新鋭の一角となる高い夜間作戦能力を持った精鋭艦攻隊です。

The "Tenzan" was a carrier-based attacker developed as a successor to the "Type 97 Carrier Attacker".
Its improved successor model is a state-of-the-art night operation carrier-based attacker capable of night torpedo attacks, equipped with night operation equipment such as an improved and adjusted version of the type 6 airborne radar, and a radio altimeter.
Equipped with this plane, this unit was led by Captain Murata, who possessed both high combat and leadership skills, and formed an elite carrier attack force with advanced night-time operational capabilities that was one of the most cutting-edge in the Japanese Navy.

Mechanics

Torpedo Bombers/ are one of the main types of plane used by CV(B/L). Their main role is to do damage during the Airstrike, with their "Torpedo" stat being the most important factor in this regard. Torpedo Bombers are additionally needed for dealing damage during day Shelling, especially for Aircraft Carrier Cut-Ins (CVCI).

• They can trigger Contact.
• They are vulnerable to shoot down during most Aerial Combat phases.

Night Aircraft are planes that contribute to Carrier Night Air Attack damage.

• Only Night Fighters and Night Torpedo Bombers are capable of actually enabling the Carrier Night Attacks.
• Bug: Its night damage is the lowest among the night plane, it is not recommended to use it for night set-up.

This plane has Anti-Air Resistance.
