Wreck located on the 8th of May 2019, by RV Petrel; she sits upright at a depth of 1,450 m (4,760 ft).

She was part of the original game's launch when the game was released on the 23rd of April 2013.
She got her Kai Ni on the 30th of March 2021.

She is one of the first ships to confirm that KanColle's setting is in the modern times as her Library and some of her line entries mention Helicopter Destroyers and the JMSDF.
She is the official mascot of the JS Mogami.
