Ranked 8th among the most successful US submarines of WWII by tonnage sunk.
- She sank a total of 15 ships during her career, including Mizuho. She also nearly sank Ryuuhou.
A total of 12 stars can be seen on her thigh band/ahoge, a nod to the 12 battle stars she had earned during her service.
The bell seen around her neck is a reference to the real ship's bell.
The skull and crossbones on her uniform is a reference to the Jolly Roger seen on her battle flag.
Her hair curls and her uniform's color scheme are thought to be references to the real ship's badge. This badge can be seen depicted on her left dive wing.
She is one of the only kanmusu in the game that actually and openly advertises her modern day museum.
