Introduction

急降下も可能な多用途水上偵察機「瑞雲」。
高価かつ高性能潜水艦搭載攻撃機「晴嵐」を運用する潜水艦部隊の航空隊として編成された第六三一海軍航空隊。
その六三一空の「瑞雲」による練成部隊です。

Multi-purpose recon seaplane "Zuiun" that is capable of performing sudden dive-bombing attacks.
The 631st Navy Air Force utilized as a submarine-launched seaplane group to operate the expensive, high-performance attack aircraft "Seiran".
This "Zuiun" was used by the 631st Navy Air Group for training.

Mechanics

Seaplanes are the main aircraft type used by non-carrier ships (mainly battleships, cruisers, and auxiliaries).

They are notably required to trigger Artillery Spotting.

Bomber Seaplane Bombers additionally act like Dive Bombers, taking part in the same air phases and sharing the same damage formulas. Additionally, they:

Play some minor Anti-Installation role.
Bring an accuracy bonus against PT boats.

Zuiuns are additionaly required for the Ise-class Kai Ni
to perform special Zuiun cut-in attack (see Artillery Spotting for more details).
