Is a "Light Aircraft Carrier" (CVL), despite being designated in the game as a "Remodeled Special Carrier" (改装特務空母) at Mk.II.
- This is reflected in her equipability exceptions only.
Gameplay Notes
Light Carriers (CVL) are weaker CV, with usually more permissive Routings. They are capable of attacking submarines.
Escort Carriers (CVE) are CVL with a base ASW stat. They are:
- Able to be placed in the main fleet of a Transport Combined Fleet,
- Required for some Expeditions' requirements,
- Able to perform Opening ASW, as other CVL cannot reach enough ASW to trigger them.
Special Mechanics
- Mk.II
- When setuped for Night Air Attack, if submarines are present, she will focus the submarines instead, using a shelling attack.
Stats Exceptions
- Base
- Has 2 equipment slots.
- Kai
- Has 3 equipment slots.
