Intrduction

水上機の名門が開発した空戦に特化した水上機「強風」。
難航する同機開発の繋ぎとして投入された二式水戦の後継として、その登場が期待されました。
実際の量産機の活躍は限定的でしたが、同機をベースに開発された「紫電」のさらなる再設計機「紫電改」は本土防空の切り札として奮戦します。
本機は機体強度等を強化したif艦載機型、その出力向上武装強化型です。

This is a seaplane specialized in aerial fighting, developed by a famous seaplane company, the "Kyoufuu".
It was expected to become the successor to the Type 2 seaplane fighter, and was introduced as a bridge to overcome the development difficulties of a new fighter.
Although the initial mass-produced version was limited, the redesigned "Shiden Kai", whose development is based on the "Shiden", fought hard and served as a trump card for mainland air defense.
This version is another "what if" seaplane with enhanced airframe strength, and armament.

Mechanics

Seaplane Fighters share all the regular Fighters mechanics, with a different set of ship equippability. Additionally, they:

Play some minor Anti-Installation role.
Bring an accuracy bonus against PT Imp.
