Introduction

米海軍で開発され、運用された潜水艦用魚雷兵装です。
前部6門の発射管から、水上の敵艦を攻撃可能ですが、初期型の魚雷は信頼性が低く、数々のチャンスを逸しています。
逆に、信頼性の向上した後期型では、日本の輸送船団、さらに護衛艦艇や主力艦に対しても猛威を発揮することになります。

A torpedo weapon developed and deployed by the US Navy.
Though possible to launch an attack against surface targets with 6 tubes, early torpedoes were unreliable, and many opportunities were missed.
Conversely, the more reliable late-model torpedoes would menace Japanese convoys, escort vessels, and front-line combatants.

Mechanics

Torpedoes are almost exlusively used to trigger Night Cut-Ins, especially the Torpedo Cut-In (TCI). Their main stat is the "torpedo" Torpedo Attack stat.
