Introduction
急降下爆撃も可能な高性能傑作多用途水上偵察機「瑞雲」。
航空戦艦「伊勢」「日向」での運用を前提に編成され、錬成を重ねた六三四航空隊所属「瑞雲」飛行隊。
同12型改二を夜間作戦用にさらに改修、機上電探及び重武装と照明弾、ベテラン搭乗員によるif夜間作戦型である本機は、航空巡洋艦などの水上艦艇の夜間作戦能力を大きく向上させる力を秘めています。
The "Zuiun" is a high-performance masterpiece seaplane reconnaissance bomber.
The highly trained 634th Zuiun Squadron was formed to be deployed on the aviation battleships "Ise" and "Hyuuga".
This Type 12 Kai Ni model has been upgraded further for night operations. Equipped with a RADAR, flares, and a veteran crew, this what-if night operations model has the power to improve the nighttime capabilities of aviation cruisers and other surface vessels.
Mechanics
Seaplanes are the main aircraft type used by non-carrier ships (mainly battleships, cruisers, and auxiliaries).
- They are notably required to trigger Artillery Spotting.
Bomber Seaplane Bombers additionally act like Dive Bombers, taking part in the same air phases and sharing the same damage formulas. Additionally, they:
- Play some minor Anti-Installation role.
- Bring an accuracy bonus against PT boats.
Zuiuns are additionaly required for the Ise-class Kai Ni
to perform special Zuiun cut-in attack (see Artillery Spotting for more details).
Night Seaplane Bombers are required to trigger a special Night Cut-In on certain ships.
- This cut-in also triggers the Star Shell effect and bonuses.
This plane has strong Anti-Air Resistance.

- 0.7 Fleet AA Modifier
