Introduction

補給艦・潜水母艦・揚陸艦・工作艦などの戦場での生残性を向上させる増設火器兵装群です。
旧式火器や一般的な機銃などの増備による兵装ですが、前線や航行中の敵航空戦力などの攻撃に対して、非力な低武装水上艦の抵抗力を高めることが可能です。
また、これら低武装艦での運用では、改修によってより効果を高めることも可能です。

This is a group of additional firearms that improves the survivability of fleet oilers, submarine tenders, amphibious assault ships, repair ships, etc. on the battlefield.
Although it is equipped with old-style firearms and regular machine guns, it is possible to increase the resistance of a weak and low-armed surface ship against attacks from enemy air forces on the front lines or during navigation.
In addition, when operating on these low-armed ships, it is possible to improve their effectiveness with improvements.

Mechanics

Main Guns are the main armament used by surface ships. Their main stats are the "firepower" and "accuracy" . They are notably required to trigger all Artillery Spotting attacks as well as some Night Cut-Ins, notably the "Double Attack" (DA).

• Most main guns come with "Hidden Fit Bonuses/Penalties", especially larger ones.
• Small Caliber Main Guns bring some accuracy bonus against PT boats.

High-Angle Guns (sometimes "dual-purpose guns"), are anti-air focused guns, that can serve their main surface role, in addition to having extra AA stats.

• They are notably required in most AACI.
• Can be equipped in the RE of CT, AS, AO, AR, and LHA.
