Gameplay Notes
Battleships (BB) notably utilize Large Caliber Main Guns, Recon Seaplane Recons, and AP Shells, having heavy firepower and armor , but lacking torpedo & ASW stats. They:
- Are required to unlock the "Second Shelling Phase".
- Must be "Fast+" to be placed in the Escort of a Combined Fleet.
Special Mechanics
- Can perform special AACI:
AACI Patterns | ||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
ID | Priority Order |
Setup | Shot down per slot |
K-value | Rate | User |
32 | 40 | OR OR |
+4 | 1.2 | 50 % | Warspite |
- Kai
- Can be used in the Escort of a Combined Fleet when being fast and not fast+.
- This notably allows her to be used in the Kongou Special Attack with better effectiveness.
Queen Elizabeth-class Special Attack
On Kai, Warspite and Valiant gain a special attack:
"Touch Helpers" | |
---|---|
Warspite Flagship: | Valiant Flagship: |
- A Queen Elizabeth-class Kai must be flagship.
- Secretary for combined fleets.
- She must not be more than lightly damaged (小破).
- The other "Touch Helper" must be in the 2nd position.
- She must not be heavily damaged (大破).
- There must be 6 or more surface ships in the fleet.
- In single fleet, Echelon needs to be selected.
- In a combined fleet, Cruising Formation 2 needs to be selected.
- Bug: The attack cannot trigger in CTF versus a single fleet.
If triggered:
- The flagship will do a 1st & 2nd attack,
- The 2nd battleship will do a 3rd attack,
- Each attack targets a ship at random,
- If all enemies sunk, then touch stops early.

The touch:
- Can be triggered even if artillery spotting fails to activate.
- Can only be activated once per sortie.
- Has a chance to trigger every time the flagship takes a turn at shelling.
- In single fleet, if it fails to trigger in day battle, there is a chance to trigger it in the follow-up night battle.
- The rate is probably:
[math]\displaystyle{ \text{Trigger}_\text{Rate}\text{%} = \Biggl\lfloor \text{V} \times \sum_\text{Ships} \sqrt{\text{Lv}} + \text{W} \times \sum_\text{Ships} \sqrt{\text{Luck}} + \text{X} + \text{Y} \Biggr\rfloor }[/math] |

Trivia
- General Information
- The origins of the name are unclear, although it is probably from the Elizabethan spelling of the word 'spite' - i.e. 'spight' - in part embodying contempt for the Navy's enemies, but which was also the common name for the green woodpecker, suggesting the 'Warspight' would poke holes in enemy ships' (wooden) hulls. Until 1919 a woodpecker was used as the ships' crest; the official badge was a cannon, although the woodpecker continued to be used on the ships' tompions or gun muzzle plugs.
- She was launched on the 26th of November 1913.
- Sold for scrap in 1947.
- Update History
- She was added on the 12th of August 2016 as Summer 2016 Event E4 reward.
- Was added to the LSC construction pool on the 16th of October 2020.
- Misc
- Her pronunciation of "Admiral" is old-fashioned.
- Survived World War II.
