General Information

She is named after Kasuga Shrine. Her name on remodel means "Big Eagle".
She was launched on the 19th of September 1940, as a Nitta Maru-class cargo liner.
Sunk by the submarine USS Rasher off Cape Bolinao, Luzon, on the 18th of August 1944.

Update History

She was added on the 2nd of May 2017 as Spring 2017 Event E3 reward.
She had her Kai Ni on release.

Misc

The color of her clothes as Kasuga Maru is a reference to the NYK funnel paint scheme of two parallel red lines on a white background.
