Introduction

早くから潜水艦との闘いを経験した紅茶の国の研究チーム、Anti-Submarine Detection Investigation Committeeで開発された対潜探知システムです。「ASDIC」と呼ばれた同システム群は進化を重ね、今日のアクティブソナーへと発展していきます。124型は大戦初期から運用されていた駆逐艦に搭載されました。

An anti-submarine detection system developed by the research team, Anti-Submarine Detection Investigation Committee, from the Country of Tea that had early experience fighting submarines. The system called "ASDIC" would evolve into modern active sonar. The Type 124 was mounted on destroyers at the start of the Great War.

Notes

Ships receive a 15% ASW synergy bonus when this is used together with a depth charge projector or depth charge; and a 43% bonus when all three types are used (must be on the same ship). The 43% bonus does not apply when used together with a special DCP.
