Introduction

数機のみ実際に完成し、終戦時に残存した名機零戦の幻の最終型、本機は熟練搭乗員の駆る、その戦闘爆撃機タイプです。
次々に登場する連合国の新型高性能機に対抗すべく、高出力の金星エンジンを搭載、機体強度を強化。
従来の格闘戦重視を捨て、一撃離脱に注力した機体に、250kg爆弾と両翼に全機銃とロケット弾搭載レールを装備した、強襲型戦闘爆撃機です。

Only a few of the last models of the fabled Type Zero fighter were produced and survived till the end of the war. This fighter-bomber variant is piloted by an experienced crew.
In order to contest the new high-performance Allied aircraft that entered the theatre, it is equipped with a high-output Kinsei engine and a strengthened airframe.
Equipped with 250 kg bombs and machine guns and rocket rails on both wings, it is an assault-focused fighter bomber that deemphasizes dogfighting to focus on striking a single blow.

Mechanics

Dive Bombers are one of the main types of plane used by CV(B/L). Their main role is to do damage during the Airstrike, with their "Dive Bombing" Dive Bomber Attack stat being the most important factor in this regard. Dive Bombers are additionally needed for dealing damage during day Shelling, especially for Aircraft Carrier Cut-Ins (CVCI).

"Fighter-Bombers" are "Dive Bombers", both behaving the exact same way, with the only notable difference being the Improvement effects given by Improved.

This plane has Anti-Air Resistance.
