「52型」のエンジンと生存性を強化した性能向上型である「零戦53型」を駆り、熟練搭乗員を率いて戦いの空に駆け上がります。

The last command of Lt. Iwamoto, the 'Rei-sen Kotetsu', a carrier-based squadron equipped with Type 53 Zero Fighters. Improvements to the engines and airframe of the Type 52 resulted in the new model Type 53; it soars into battle piloted by skilled pilots.

The 'Rei-sen Kotetsu' (零戦虎徹) was a nickname given to Iwamoto.

Quest reward from quest F30. Any improvements the Zero Fighter Type 52 Model A (Iwamoto Squadron) may have will carry over to the Type 53 (Iwamoto).
