Analysis
Noshiro Kai
Priority: Low
- At first remodel, she has good Firepower and Torpedo stat for a light cruiser, meaning she can do Artillery Spotting with decent damage at day and packs a good punch at night, too.
- Her ASW stat also allow her to perform OASW attacks with proper setup.
Noshiro Kai Ni
Priority: Medium
- Her second remodel gives further boosts to her Firepower and Torpedo stats on top of adding an additional equipment slot. This gives her CA levels of day-time shelling and the 2nd highest Night Battle damage of any CL.
- However, keep in mind that her base Luck is low and doesn't allow her to use night cut-in attacks reliably. (Raising her Luck stat is an option for veteran admirals.)
- 4 Slots also allows her to easily perform an OASW while maintaining the ability to DA at night. She can even keep Artillery Spotting if utilizing her Expansion Slot.
- She can also be equipped for anti-installation nuking by utilizing her Expansion Slot with a 8cm gun to equip 3 anti-installation gear and still perform a DA at night.
- While she can equip Seaplane Bombers, her largest slot size is 4 making her use cases for them rather niche due to the risk of them being wiped.

Trivia
- Fall 2013 Event E-2 reward.
- She is named after Yoneshiro River in the Akita Prefecture, which is also known as the Noshiro River.
- Sunk 26 October 1944 by USN aircraft south of Mindoro in the Sulu Sea at 11°42′N 121°41′E.
