Introduction

当時の日本陸軍の主力戦車、歩兵支援に主眼をおいた九七式中 戦車、通称「チハ車」。同戦車の対機甲戦闘力向上を図るべ く、新開発の貫通力の高い新主砲を搭載した改良後期型、通称 「チハ車改」です。
※単独で海上機動できませんが、接岸擱座揚陸能力を持つ二等 輸送艦などに搭載することで、着上陸戦闘が可能です。

The Type 97 medium tank, commonly known as the "Chi-Ha", was the main tank of the IJA used primarily as infantry support.
In order to improve the Chi-Ha's anti-armour capability for its role as infantry support, the "Chi-Ha Kai" was equipped with a new main gun with better penetration power.

  • Though they cannot manoeuvre at sea without support, they can be loaded onto a 2nd class transport ship that has the ability to beach itself so they can perform amphibious landings.

Mechanics

Landing Forces Landing Forces behave similarly to other "Landing Equipment" against Installations. They:

  • Are only used against Installations.
  • Can only be equipped on "LST" type ships (a subcategory of LHA).
  • Provide great damage boost against all installation types.
  • Can be a component of a "nuke" setup.

Additionally, when attacking an installation, the attack animation makes the ship physically move across the screen like other Landing Equipment, as it is a "landing craft" itself.
