Introduction

増大する敵潜水艦による脅威に対抗するため、三式爆雷投射機を集中配備。舷側方向に対して、片舷6～8基、両舷12～16基の爆雷投射能力を誇る、対潜艦艇用の対潜制圧兵装です。
日振型の次級である、鵜来型以降に装備され、海上護衛や対潜哨戒に威力を発揮しました。

A more concentrated deployment of Type 3 depth charge launchers, in order to counter the growing threat from enemy submarines. An impressive shipborne weapon for submarine suppression, able to throw 6-8 charges per side for an impressive total of 12-16 charges.
Equipped on the Hiburi-class's successors, the Ukuru-class, where they came into extensive use in convoys and anti-submarine patrols.

Notes

Ships receive a boost of 15% more ASW firepower when this is used together with a SONAR. This equipment does not get the 10% bonus when used with a depth charge or the 43% SONAR+DC+DCP synergy bonus. However, since it's 15% SONAR synergy bonus is unique, it can stack with the 43% bonus to give a total bonus of 64%. This is only possible on ships with 4 slots.
