Introduction

日本陸軍が開発、配備した二式複座戦闘機、通称二式複戦、「屠龍」。
その改良型重武装型です。
本機はその改良丙型に対重爆迎撃用の大口径上向き銃、いわゆる「斜銃」を試験的に備えた重爆キラー、まさしく「屠龍」の名の通りの機体。
対戦闘機戦には不向きですが、日本本土防空戦において、敵重爆に対して海軍「月光」と共に奮戦します。

The "Toryuu" Type 2 Two-seat Fighter developed and deployed by the Imperial Japanese Army.
This is an improved and up-gunned version.
The Model C upgrade featured additional high-caliber guns meant for intercepting heavy bombers. This anti-heavy bomber Toryuu was experimentally equipped with these "oblique guns".
Though it is unsuited for dogfighting, it fought hard alongside the Navy's "Gekkou" to defend the Japanese mainland against heavy bombers.

Mechanics

  • Provide Sortie Fighter-Power, where the "fighter Power" Anti-Air, "interception" Interception, and "combat radius" Operation Radius stats are the most important,
  • Intercept enemy bombers, where the "fighter Power" Anti-Air, "interception" Interception, and especially the "anti-bomber" Anti-Bomber stats are the most important.
