Introduction

特I型駆逐艦に採用された駆逐艦主砲、その改良型です。
防盾で全周を遮蔽、弾片や荒天対策を施しており、動力操砲も採用した近代的駆逐艦用主砲の先駆けである本兵装を改良、特I型での運用性と精度を向上させています。ただし、本質的には平射砲であるため、対空戦闘には不向きです。

An improved version of the destroyer main gun used on the Special Type I destroyers.
It has an enclosed, shielded turret that protects it against shrapnel and stormy weather. It also has powered turrets. It was the precursor to modern destroyer main guns. It has increased accuracy when equipped on Special Type I destroyers.
However, it is primarily meant for shelling so it is unsuited for anti-air combat.

Fit Bonuses
The 12.7cm Twin Mount Type-A Kai 2 provide the following bonuses to member of the Type I New Type Destroyers of the Fubuki-class (Fubuki, Miyuki, Hatsuyuki, Shirayuki, Murakumo, Isonami, and Uranami:

When equipped with a Surface RADAR the following additional stats improve:

Overall, the stat gain using both the mentioned gun and Surface RADAR provides the following overall bonus to the Type I New Type Destroyers of the Fubuki-class Destroyers:

Triple Torpedo Mount Bonus
When equipped with a Triple Torpedo Mount the following additional stats improve:

+1 Icon Gun.png , +2 Icon Torpedo.png

When equipped with 2 Triple Torpedo Mount the following additional stats improve:

+2 Icon Gun.png , +5 Icon Torpedo.png

Overall the stat gain using both the mentioned gun and Triple Torpedo Mount provides the following overall bonus to the Type I New Type Destroyers of the Fubuki-class Destroyers:
