She is named after Mount Haruna.
She was launched on the 14th of December 1913.
Sunk at the Kure Naval Base on the 28th of July 1945; raised and scrapped in 1946.

She was part of the original game's launch when the game was released on the 23rd of April 2013.
She got her Kai Ni on the 28th of July 2014.
She got her Kai Ni B/C on the 1st of May 2014.

Misc

Haruna's camouflage was painted in her mooring at Kure, along with Ise and Hyuuga.
