Introduction
大型艦用パッシブソナー兵装です。 九三式水中聴音機の捕音機を増強した大型グレードアップバージョンで、大和型戦艦のバルバス・バウ付近にも装備されました。 専門の人員も配置して水面下の音を収集、敵潜などの早期発見に努めます。
A Passive SONAR system for large ships. An upgrade from the Type 93 Passive SONAR, with a larger sound collector, it was equipped on Yamato-class ships within their bulbous bow. The IJN had specialized personnel constantly listening on the machine, tying to quickly recognize any enemy submarines.
