Introduction
「零戦」の後継機として開発された最新鋭艦上戦闘機「烈風」。
用兵側の発動機選定ミスや多忙な現場設計陣などの苦境を越えて、ついに完成した新型艦戦。本航空隊は同新鋭機材を定数受領して、再建を目指す空母機動部隊、その戦闘機部隊の中核を担います。
The Reppuu is a state of the art, carrier-borne fighter designed to replace the "Zero" fighter. Despite difficulties in engine selection, preoccupied design teams and factories, this new type of carrier-borne fighter was finally completed. This new fighter will form the backbone of carrier air groups of rebuilt carrier task groups.
