次世代駆逐艦などに搭載するための高温高圧缶です。
従来の艦本式ロ号缶と比べて、その性能は大きく向上しています。
艦の回避率を大きく向上させると共に、将来的には新型タービンとの併用でさらに高い性能を発揮することが期待されます。
