Introduction
陳腐化した53cm魚雷の後継として開発された大型の61cm魚雷。
その三連装発射管は、駆逐艦の主力兵装として「睦月」型や「吹雪」型などに搭載されました。
魚雷戦や夜戦の主力兵装として活躍します。
The successor to the obsolete 53cm Torpedo Mount after much development. With the three-barreled firing tube, this was made as the destroyer's main armament for the Mutsuki-class and the Fubuki-class and so on for general equipping. This would serve in many battles as the main force in general torpedo battles as well as night warfare.
