Introduction

旧式化したA型砲、その余剰装備を元に全面改修を実施、両用砲に換装した戦時改修if駆逐艦主砲です。最大仰角、装填機構の換装、高射装置との連動も含め、従来のA型砲とは全く別の特型駆逐艦用主砲兵装となっています。両用砲として、ある程度対空戦闘も可能です。

As they have become somewhat obsolete, the surplus 12.7cm Twin Mount Type A turrets have undergone a thorough modernization. One of wartime modifications in this models is the implementation of dual-purpose guns. Improved maximum elevation, loading mechanism replacement and coupling with an anti-aircraft fire director are just a few of multiple improvements aimed at coping with reality of anti-aircraft warfare. All these refinements resulted in a destroyer gun turret designed for the Special Type destroyers which is entirely different from the conventional Type A model. Additionally, thanks to the use of dual-purpose guns it has become a viable anti-aircraft armament.

Fit Bonuses
The 12.7cm Twin Mount Type-A Kai 3 (Wartime Modifications) + Anti-Aircraft Fire Director provide the following bonuses to member of the Fubuki-class , Ayanami-class and Akatsuki-class
