- General Information
- She is named after Mount Ashigara.
- She was launched on the 22nd of April 1928.
- Sunk by HMS Trenchant in Bangka Strait, on the 8th of June 1945.
- Wreck lies in very shallow water with extremely poor visibility, resulting in several diving fatalities over the years, including two Indonesian Navy divers lost inside her hull in 2002. She has also reportedly been heavily salvaged.
- Update History
- She was part of the original game's launch when the game was released on the 23rd of April 2013.
- She got her Kai Ni on the 26th of December 2014.
