Gameplay Notes
Standard Aircraft Carriers (CV) notably utilize 
Dive Bombers, 
Torpedo Bombers, 
Fighters, required to take part in both Aerial Combat and regular Combat, with their "plane slot" 
stat being the most important. They:
- Must equip / bombers to be able to carry any attack.
- Cannot attack during Night Battle without the right equipment.

Trivia
- General Information
- Her name means "Cloud Dragon" after a creature in Japanese mythology.
- She was launched on the 25th of September 1943.
- Sunk by USS Redfish (SS-395) on the 19th of December 1944 in the East China Sea (29°59′N 124°03′E).
- A torpedo wrecked Unryuu's hangar, which detonated the Ōhkas within and the highly volatile aviation fuel underneath.
- Update History
- She was added on the 8th of August 2014 as Summer 2014 Event E5 reward.
- Was part of the drop pool of 6-3 when it was released on th 26th of June 2015.
- Misc
- Unryuu's design is a modification on that of Souryuu and Hiryuu.
- This is a factor in why Unryuu shares the -ryuu naming scheme rather than the Shoukaku-class' -kaku naming scheme.
- Although commissioned, she never possessed an air wing due to losses during the war, and as such, she never traveled far from a port.
- The exception was her first and only sortie involving Yokosuka MXY7 Ōhka kamikaze rocket planes destined for Manila, Philippines.
- She is the last carrier sunk at sea during the Pacific War (WWII).
