• Named after the city of Tuscaloosa.
• She was launched on the 15th of November 1933.
• Sold for scrap on the 25th of June 1959.

• She was added on the 18th of March 2023 as Early Spring 2023 Event E5 reward and E6 drop.

Misc

• Fought from the beginning of the Pacific War in Pearl Harbor 1941 until the final operations in Japan 1945.
• She also was deployed in the European and African fronts assisting the British Home Fleet from 1942 and even took part in D-Day in June 6, 1944.
• Survived World War II.
• Only New Orleans-class who got through the war without being damaged.
• In her casual and live event depictions she has shown that she likes manicuring and decorating her nails.
• She is currently an icon in Sasebo as she helps promote the partnership between KanColle and Big Man Sasebo Burgers.
