Mikuma is a rare, but resourceful aviation cruiser that admirals can consider having in the Mogami-class fleet. However, due to the locations of where she can be found. She is often difficult to obtain and requires lots of time and effort in order to obtain her. She can also be obtained via [[Large Ship Construction]] making for an easier (but costly) method of being collected into the fleet.
Like most of the Mogami-class, Mikuma doesn't have any outstanding features to her other than the fact she can hold a considerable amount of seaplanes in one slot and can has better firepower over the rest of her companions. Unlike the rest of the Mogami-class however, she requires the most time to be trained to a Kai Ni level (Level 30). This however comes with a [[20.3cm(no.3) Twin Gun Mount]] which is suited for Mikuma's rarity.
Admirals may consider trying to farm for Mikuma if they have the time and opportunity to consider looking for her, outside of that however, earning copies of her may be recommended to collect [[20.3cm(no.3) Twin Gun Mount]] for modification reasons via [[Akashi's Improvement Arsenal]], but as noted before, due to her locations, she may be difficult to obtain and it may be easier to just train [[Kinugasa]] as an alternative for the [[20.3cm(no.3) Twin Gun Mount]] despite the fact she takes longer to earn it (Level 55)
