General Notes:

• Luck has no proven effect on aircraft carriers.
• Akagi is rewarded when you complete quest B10.
• Kaga has the highest plane count and the biggest single slot.
• Hiryuu Kai-2 and Souryuu Kai-2 comes with extra-rare equipment and has excellent offensive stats.
• Zuikaku and Shoukaku are well-rounded CVs with more evenly spread plane counts per slot except for Shoukaku Kai Ni A. Both Shoukaku Kai Ni and Zuikaku Kai Ni also have medium range by default.
  • Shoukaku is required to obtain the rare Tenzan Model 12 (Murata Squadron) while both Shoukaku Kai Ni and Zuikaku Kai Ni are required to obtain the rare Type 0 Fighter Model 53 (Iwamoto Squadron).
• Taihou is the only Aircraft Carrier that starts out as an Armored Aircraft Carrier and launches planes at 中破 (moderate damage) but has higher repair costs. She also has the third highest AA stat as well as a high firepower stat and high plane counts.
• Shoukaku Kai Ni A and ZuikakuKai Ni A are the second and third Armored Aircraft Carrier implemented in game respectively and are optional upgrades from their counterparts (Shoukaku Kai Ni and Zuikaku Kai Ni). However, they lose their evenly spread plane count.
  • Shoukaku Kai Ni A has the second highest AA, Armor, and Health with the highest Firepower.
  • Zuikaku Kai Ni A has the highest AA, Evasion, Health, Armor, and Luck with the second highest Firepower.
  • Both Shoukaku Kai Ni A and Zuikaku Kai Ni A can be remodeled again to return to their former counterparts (Shoukaku Kai Ni and Zuikaku Kai Ni), though this costs resources and reduces modernization like any other remodel.
• The Unryuu-class has the lowest resource usage of all Standard Aircraft Carriers but also has the second lowest total plane counts, the lowest HP of all Standard Aircraft Carriers, and a blueprint to upgrade to their Kai versions. Unryuu, Amagi, and Katsuragi come with rare planes
  • Unryuu also is required for quests that grant very rare equipment.
• Graf Zeppelin is currently the only carrier in the game which can participate in night battle and also has medium range from the start, but her total plane count is the lowest of all CVs in the game.
