General Notes:

• Luck has no known effect on aircraft carriers.
• Akagi is rewarded when you complete quest B10.
• Kaga has the highest plane count, and the biggest single slot.
• Hiryuu Kai-2 and Souryuu Kai-2 come with extra-rare equipment and have excellent offensive stats.
• Zuikaku and Shoukaku are well-rounded CVs, with more evenly spread plane counts per slot except for Shoukaku Kai Ni A. Both Shoukaku Kai Ni and Zuikaku Kai Ni also have medium range by default.
  • Shoukaku is required to obtain the rare Tenzan Model 12 (Murata Squadron) and Shoukaku Kai Ni & Zuikaku Kai Ni are required to obtain the rare Type 0 Fighter Model 53 (Iwamoto Squadron) and Zero Fighter Model 62 (Fighter-bomber / Iwai Squadron).
• Taihou is the only Aircraft Carrier that starts out as an Armored Aircraft Carrier by default, and thus can launch planes at 中破 (moderate damage), though her repair costs are higher.  She also has the third highest AA stat, as well as a high firepower stat and plane counts.
• Shoukaku Kai Ni A and ZuikakuKai Ni A are the second and third Armored Aircraft Carrier implemented in game respectively, and are optional upgrades from their Kai Ni forms. However they lose their evenly spread plane count.
  • Shoukaku Kai Ni A has the highest Firepower, and the second highest AA, Armor and Health.
  • Zuikaku Kai Ni A has the highest AA, Evasion, Health, Armour and Luck, and the second highest Firepower.
  • Both Shoukaku Kai Ni A and Zuikaku Kai Ni A can be remodeled again to return to their Kai Ni versions, though this costs resources and reduces modernization like any other remodel.
• The Unryuu-class have the lowest resource usage of all Standard Aircraft Carriers, but also have the lowest total plane counts, the lowest HP of all Standard Aircraft Carriers, and require a blueprint to upgrade to their Kai versions. Unryuu, Amagi and Katsuragi come with rare planes, and Unryuu is required for quests that grant very rare equipment.
