• 2015/2/6 Added as a drop for clearing E5during the Winter 2015 Event.
  • Not obtainable any other way currently.
  • Many asks, "Is the Hard Mode Medal required for her modernization?" The answer is no, you can use the regular Blueprint.
• You can run Amagi similarly to Unryuu. Supply consumption and stats don't differ that much.
• When you first obtain Amagi, she doens't have any plane as an equipment and her outfit doesn't seem combat ready. This is probably due to historical accuracy.
  • When you kai her, she gains her status back as a Aircraft Carrier with planes.
• Amagi's non-kai and kai form have identical moderate damage portrait other than her outfit.
  • Thought to represent historical accuracy of when she flipped over and bedded on the sea floor.

• The Artist posted Facts about Amagi on his Twitter page, jsut like how he also did with Unryuu.
• Plane slot size is same as Unryuu, even brings the 3 named planes.
  • Only difference from Unryuu is her last slot. Unryuu brings Saiun but Amagi brings 12cm 30-tube Rocket Launcher.
  • For those who changed planes to Reppuu (601 Air Group) would be delighted. Since Amagi will bring another Zero Fighter Type 52 Type C (601 Air Group).
• Stats compared to Unryuu Kai and Amagi Kai => -1 Armor, +1 Evasion, -3 Fire Power、+1 Anti-Air、-2 Line of Sight、+5 Luck. There are small differences so you can run them similarly.
• When you kai Amagi, her outfit completely changes to look similar to Unryuu Class design.
  • Similarly with Ro-500, Many admiral were confused on these dramatic changes in outfit.
• Simiar to Unryuu Amagi's Flight Deck became the shape of a Shrine Banner, However Amagi has a Shinto Music Bell unlike Unryuu with crosier as the handle. It is assumed in Amagi's non-kai form, She kepy her Shinto Music Bell in the bag behind her.

Real Trivia

• Departing from Unryuu's naming scheme set by Souryuu & Hiryuu, due to being be a modified version of them, Amagi & her following sisters utilized the defunct battlecruiser naming scheme. That is, names of mountains.
  • Amagi was last used for the Amagi-class Battlecruisers, of which Akagi was a part of.
    • To wit, Amagi-class Battlecruiser Amagi & Unryuu-class Aircraft Carrier Amagi are thoroughly different ships.
• Although she was commissioned in 1944, she has never possessed an air wing due to losses during the war & as such, never traveled far from a port.
  • The 601 Air Group were slated to be her air wing, if not for their deployment in the Battle of Iwo Jima
  • She was permanently moored at an island in Kure Harbor & extensively camouflaged on April 13th, 1945 after light damage sustained from Task Force 58.
• Beginning on July 24th, 1945 & supplemented on July 28th, Task Force 38 attacked her. Her damage was not repaired & she capsized at her moorings.
• Amagi was the last Aircraft Carrier to be 1st Carrier Fleet. She was the First one introduced in the game to be proud of being part of the New 1st Carrier Fleet.
