- She is named after Shinano Province, modern day Nagano Prefecture.
- She was launched on the 8th of OCtober 1944.
- Sunk on the 29th of November 1945 South of Japan.

- Is not currently in the game.

- She was teased in a magazine back in 2014, with a concept art by artist Youki.
- Since then, her existence (or lack thereof) is a meme inside the community, with her arrival being synonymous of the last event of Kancolle, followed by the closure of the game.
