Historical info
- Laid down 15 October 1943, launched 28 March '44 and commissioned 16th June that year.
- Spent most of her career escorting convoys to and from Manilla, in which time she helped to sink the USS Shark with Harukaze and later during Convoy TA No.7 engaged a US destroyer squadron and managed to torpedo and sink the USS Cooper, though she was damaged in return and had to dock for repairs.
- She survived the war and was used for repatriations before being allocated to Britain and scrapped.
