General Guidelines

E-1 is a 2.5 Phase Single-Fleet Map consisting of a Transport, Unlock and TP Phase. It is also possible to farm fuel in large quantities on this map. See the collapsible guide below for more information.

Fuel Farming

Guide to Fuel Farming on E1

Node E is a resource Node on this map that can be farmed for fuel. Its maximum reward of 200 Fuel is calculated as:

The Ships required for the shortest routing (Start-C-E) are 1AO 4DD, the remaining slot can be filled by a CV(L)/SS(V). In case of AV/CV(L) they should be set up with a full bombing setup as the opening airstrike is not affected by Morale. The single Combat Node is C, containing a light enemy Torpedo Squadron.

Notes:

• You can advance even after a ship in your fleet was heavily damaged (大破) and put into taiha-state at Node C as the following Resource Node is not a combat node. Doublecheck your fleets status before reentering the map
• Fodder use and zero morale farming is possible
• Kamoi is the recommended pick for AO as Hayasui is more expensive to sortie. Kamoi Kai is not a AO, but an AV.
• If you havent started the Event yet, you can farm fuel on Casual difficulty to make the combat node easier
• Be aware that locks still get applied to ships you use to farm fuel here, so plan accordingly if you plan to clear maps on higher difficulties

"I dont have a Fleet Oiler, what are my options?"

A Fast+ Fleet without DDs routes C-E as well.

While not recommended it is also possible to get to the Fuel Node with a slow fleet consisting of AV CVL 4DD, but it takes the additional combat Node B, greatly impacting efficiency due to lower speed, higher cost and retreat rates.

Phase 1: Defeat Mediterranean CL Princess

The goal of this phase is to deplete the HP Bar and defeat the CL Princess found at Node J. Aside from a Nu Class Flagship Kai Light Carrier in some compositions her escorts are not a threat. Only she herself with 740HP and up to 228 Armour on Hard Mode can be considered troublesome. One to three historical ships to deal with her are recommended.

• Recommended Fleet: 1FBB 1CA 1CL 1CV 2DD (Fast Fleet)
• Route: C F H J
• LBAS: Range 6, 100/225 Airpower for AP/AS
• Additional Notes: Vanguard Formation can be utilized to help with preboss Nodes. Support Expeditions are not needed

Phase 1.5: Unlock the TP Node

This is not required on lower difficulties. On Hard Mode, you need to A+-Rank Node D consisting of up to 3 Supply Depot Hime, 1-2 Artillery Imps and 2 PT Imps. Set up your Ships with the according equipment to deal with them as outlined here. PT Imps are weak to AA Guns + Skilled Lookouts on your DDs.

• Recommended Fleet: 1FBB 1CA 1CL 1CVL 2DD (Slow Fleet)
• Route: B D
• LBAS: Range 3, 136 Airpower for AP
• Additional Notes: Support Expeditions are not needed but node support can be used to deal with PT Imps

Phase 2: Deplete the TP Gauge

The Goal of this Phase is to deplete the TP Gauge. The TP boss can consist of (French BB Hime) and a weaker variant of the Mediterranean CL Hime accompanied by some elite DDs. To deplete the Gauge faster, it is recommended to take Transport Equipment like Drums and Daihatsu-Class landing craft on your weak surface combatants. AACI for the preboss Air Raid is recommended.

• Recommended Fleet: 1FBB 1CV 4DD
• Route: C F G N O
• LBAS: Range 7, 101 Airpower for AS (108 LD)
• Additional Notes: It might be preferable to gun for A-Ranks here as French BB Hime still has relatively high Armour, at 256. Support Expeditions are not needed unless going for S ranks. If only a few Points are remaining you can start replacing Transport Equipment for Combat Equipment.

• E-2 is a multi-phase map starting with a TP Phase followed by a HP Phase.
• You cannot sortie any Flight-Deck equipped ship onto this map unless they have Arctic Gear & Deck Personnel equipped to them.

Map Phases Breakdown

Phase 1: Deplete TP Gauge

The Goal of this Phase is depleting the TP-Gauge by reaching Node K and defeating the Transport Boss at Node N using a Transport Combined Fleet (TCF). The preboss gauntlet includes a Submarine Node (Node C), an Airstrike (Node F) and PT Imps (Node H), and an enemy Torpedo Squadron (Node I), the Boss itself is rather unimpressive and obtaining winning ranks should not pose a problem.

• Recommended Fleet (TCF): (0-1AV 0-1CL 1-2CAV 4DD) + (1-2CL 0-1CA(V) 3-5DD) | Maximum of 2(AV/CA/CAV)
• Route: B C F H I J K N
• Notes:
  • Concentrate your Transport Equipment on the Main Fleet as the Escort Fleet are the ones doing the most fighting
  • AACI to deal with the Airstrike is recommended
  • (O)ASW is optional, the subnode is not that threatening
  • There is no Airpower on the Boss, a single Seaplane-Fighter is sufficient to acquire AS
  • If lacking Destroyers equipped with Reinforcement Expansions to deal with PT-Imps, it is recommended to use Support Shelling

Phase 2: Unlock the Shortcuts E -> O and G -> O

S rank Node A:

• Recommended Fleet: Use the TCF Comp that you used in Phase 1

• Notes: You can replace Transport Equipment for Combat Equipment

S rank Node C:

• Recommended Fleet: Use TCF Comp from phase 1 but make sure to use sonar and depth charge on your CL and DD in escort fleet
  • You can run a cheap STF comp with 2 FBB + 1 CL 5 DD

• Recommended Fleet: Use the TCF Comp that you used in Phase 1

Phase 3: Defeat Abyssal CA Hime

The Goal of this Phase is to complete the Map by defeating the Heavy Cruiser Princess found in the Combined fleet in Node Q. She is the only threatening Element of the Boss Node, so at least two strong historical ships capable of punching through up to 277 Armour on Last Dance are recommended to deal with her.

There are two options to completing this Phase as outlined below, both of which have the following requirements: Fast Fleet, at least 3 CL, and up to 2 (F)BB(V), also no more than 3 (F)BB(V) + CV(L)

• Recommended Fleet (STF): (1-2(F)BB(V) 2-3CA(V) 2CL 0-1DD) + (CL 1-2CLT 0-1CA(V) 3DD)
• Route: B C E O Q
• Notes:
  • More Lock-Intensive than the lighter fleet, but stronger in both pass rate and boss stopping power
  • A single Seaplane Fighter or Seaplane Bomber in a large slot is sufficient to secure AS+ on all preboss Nodes as well as the Boss.
  • If you want to avoid the submarine Node C, you can go to Node A instead, but this will put you at a damage penalty against the Boss.

General Guidelines

• E3 is a multi-phase map consisting of, in order:
  • 2 TP Phases
  • 1 Unlock Phase
  • 1 HP Phase.
• You cannot sortie any Flight-Deck equipped ship onto this map unless they have Arctic Gear & Deck Personnel equipped to them.
• 2 Bases of LBAS Support are available to you on this map.

Map Phases Breakdown

Phase 1: Clear the TP Gauge

After clearing TP Phases for several generations on E1 and E2, it is now up to your great-grandson to reach the Transport Node M and to defeat the Transport Boss at Q, which includes a rather troublesome Ne-Class Kai at up to 255 Armour. There are two Options to complete this Phase. Both of them go through Node J, which can spawn an enemy Torpedo Squadron in Vanguard Formation. There will also be a Submarine Node and Airstrike Node on the way. Depending on Strategy (A or S-Ranks) you might want to set up historical ships to deal with the Ne-Class Kai at Q.

• Recommended Fleet: (0-1CVL 0-1AV/Shinshuu Maru 0-2CAV 4DD) + (1-2CA 1-2CL 3-4DD)
• Route: A C E H J K L M Q
• LBAS: Range 7 (Q), Range 7 (J), No Airpower on both Nodes
• Notes:
  • Concentrate your Transport Equipment on the Main Fleet as the Escort Fleet are the ones doing the most fighting
  • AACI to deal with the Airstrike is recommended
  • (O)ASW is optional, the subnode is not that threatening
  • There is no Airpower on the Boss, a single Seaplane-Fighter is sufficient to acquire AS
  • If Node J is troublesome, consider using one base of high accuracy Carrier Planes in LBAS to deal with them

Phase 2: Second Transport Phase

This Phase is largely a repeat of Phase 1 (including Fleet compositions), the Transport Node is found at U and the Transport Boss at Node X. The Transport Boss's fleet in this Phase largely consists of PT-Imps, so taking means to deal with them is highly recommended. In comparison to Phase 1 there is an additional Airstrike in Form of Node P. The Surface Task Force may opt to use a Fleet Carrier (CV) instead of a CVL in this Phase.

Note that Surface Task Force has different routing compared to Phase 1; in this phase, it will route from Start Point 2, proceeding via:
R S T K L P W U X (Shortest possible route)
The fleet must be Fast to avoid offrouting to nodes F & G. Other than that, the fleet is similar to the Phase 1 Surface Task Force Fleet, with the possibility of swapping a CV for a CVL.

• The only potentially dangerous node is T, which can contain 2 Ne Elites in Vanguard formation.

Phase 3: Unlock the Boss Node

To unlock the Boss Node, you need to obtain Air Superiority on LBAS Raid defence twice (on Hard). Set up your LBAS accordingly and sortie your fleet until you trigger the Raid.

Phase 4: Unlock the Shortcut

To unlock the Shortcut T->Z you need to do the following. You can only do these steps once the Boss Node is unlocked as described above:

• S-Rank Node Q, A-Rank Node C:
  • You are required to use a Transport Combined Fleet as outlined in Phase 1 for this step as a STF will no longer route there.
  • Replace Transport Equipment for Combat Equipment

• A-Rank Node D
  • Routes D. Use a Surface Task Force and load up on ASW equipment
  • Use of 1 BB 1 CA + 1 CL 3 DD will take you on the same route to D and save up on resources. Speed does not matter. Load up your CL and DD with ASW equipment

• A-Rank Node R
  • Routes R. Use a Surface Task Force and load up on ASW equipment

• Alternative: A-Rank Nodes D & R (in same sortie)
  • It is also possible to S-Rank Nodes D & R in one sortie, routing B-D-R. Use a Carrier Task Force that contains 4 or more (F)BB(V)+CV(L/B) and load up on ASW equipment

(optional) Phase 5: Debuff

With the presence of strong historical Bonuses, doing the debuff can be considered optional. It only applies to the Last Dance form. It is currently unknown if debuffing can only be done once the Boss is put into a Last Dance state. The following steps are suspected to be required on Hard Difficulty:

• S-Rank Node T
• S-Rank Node K
• S-Rank Node J (?)
• A-Rank Node Q (P1 Boss, requires usage of TCF)
• S-Rank Node I (slow CTF, Fleet should include a limit of CL = 1 + DD = 2-3 )

Phase 6: Defeat the Abyssal Loli Battleship Princess

The Goal of this Phase is to defeat the New Battleship Princess found at Node Z. She is accompanied by two Wo-Class Kai Aircraft Carriers and a heavier Torpedo Squadron in a Combined Fleet. She herself can be considered the main threat of this Node, her escorting ships are considerably weaker compared to other Event Boss nodes. At up to 356 Armour on Last Dance and 980HP you should be making use of Historical Ships with high bonuses like Verniy, Tashkent and Gangut Dva.

• Recommended Fleet: (2CV 2-3CA(V) 1-2CL) + (FBB CL 1-2CA(V) 0-1CLT 2-3DD)
• Route: B D F G S T Z
• LBAS: Range 7, AD/AP is 69/138 and 89/177 on Hard Mode
• Notes:
  • This is the heaviest fleet you can take to this Boss. It also ignores speed, so utilizing Gangut in the Escort will be more viable
  • Due to Shelling order, Node T might be problematic for your Escort Fleet
  • Support Expeditions recommended on Last Dance

• Recommended Fleet: (1-3(F)BB(V) 0-1CV(B) 2-3CA(V) 0-1CL 0-1DD) + (CL 0-2CLT 0-1CA(V) 3-4DD) | Maximum of 3 (F)BB(V) + CV(B/L), 4DD, Fast Fleet
