Trivia

  • She is named after Paul Teste.
  • According to Tanibe Yumi and her Interview when she was assigned the role of Commandant Teste, she had to go out of her way and spend an extensive amount of time learning the French Language in order to be able to deliver Commandant Teste's lines.
  • Historically, Commandant Teste has had a rough history where she has been sunk and was refloated multiple times. Over all she was:
    • Scuttled via the French when the Germans were invading to avoid capture in November 1942.
    • Refloated by the Italians in May of 1943.
    • Captured by the Germans in September 1943.
    • Bombed and sunk by Allied Forces on August 1944.
    • Refloated again in February 1945.
    • Was used by a storage location for US planes up until 1950.
    • Finally scrapped in May 1950.
