Compared to the hell that is AL-2, MI-1 is pretty tame. Just two aerial combat and nothing else. The combined fleet mechanic is awesome...if only there are some thorough explanation about the formation because my escort fleet keep missing and that's not what I expected. The map ate 6k of my bauxite, the horror.

*How much the effective LoS requirement for the boss node, anyway? First I went there, I got dead-end. I put another Zuiun 634 (total 2 as above) in Chiyoda. 129 effective LoS, then boss twice. Another dead-end. Boss twice again. After that three times dead-end. WTF? So I switched Kongou-Hiei's Radar to Seaplane (boosted the Recon Plane LoS variable for main fleet to a whopping 71 LoS) and I reached the boss for the remaining sorties. I think my main fleet's total LoS was 161 or something.

*The aircraft setting were Ryuusei Kai - Reppuu - Reppuu - Saiun for all CVs, for 7 boss kills. Combined with Chiyoda's Zuiuns (although I doubt it really matters), I got Air Superiority. Switched each Ryuusei Kai for Type 62 for the last kill, only to witness that it's still Air Parity against the final pattern. I settled for Ryuusei Kai on the largest slot plus two Reppuus, for the final kill.

I hate to admit it but after seeing this map, even though I have what I need, it's my own fleet that is lacking. Nevertheless, I'm gonna try as far as I can.
