Able to trigger Contact.

Does not contribute Fighter-Power in Aerial Combat, and cannot be shot down during it.

When equipped to a Land-base it:

In Sortie mode, it can extend the minimum Combat Radius
- LB Land-based Reconnaissance Aircraft
  
  will additionally:
  - Add a bonus post-cap damage multiplier to all Aircraft in the base.
  - Add a bonus multiplier to the total Sortie Fighter-Power of the base.
In Air Defense mode, adds a bonus multiplier to the total Defense Fighter-Power of the base.
Can contribute Fighter-Power (if it has any Proficiency or ), and can be shot down.
Cannot gain Proficiency.
