Play 		Fletcher-class destroyer, Heywood L. Edwards. I entered service late in that war, participated in the night battles in that strait, and took part in supporting in the capture of the islands. After the war, I served as one of the early destroyers of the Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force as the 'Ariake' and trained the self-defense fleet.
