The Setsubun Mini-Event is a yearly mini-event that occurs from late January to mid-February, since 2019. In this mini-event, Setsubun Beans are rewarded in daily and weekly quests. The Setsubun Beans can be exchanged for a variety of consumables and rare equipment, such as Improvement Materials, Medals, and several LBAS planes.
- The 2019 Setsubun mini-event took place from 2019-01-22 to 2019-02-08 (17 days).
- The 2020 Setsubun mini-event took place from 2020-01-14 to 2020-02-07 (24 days).
- The 2021 Setsubun mini-event took place from 2021-01-13 to 2021-02-05 (23 days).
- The 2022 Setsubun mini-event took place from 2022-01-21 to 2022-02-22 (32 days).
- The 2023 Setsubun mini-event took place from 2023-01-20 to 2023-02-14 (25 days).
- The 2024 Setsubun mini-event took place from 2024-01-25 to 2024-02-29 (35 days).
- The 2025 Setsubun mini-event took place from 2024-01-28 to 2025-02-28 (31 days).

Bean Calendar
The Mini-event started on the 28th of January and lasted until the 28th of February. Players had the opportunity to earn a total of 81 Beans from doing all the weekly and daily quests. Below is a calendar, updated daily to showcase what is still available for those who wish to plan out how to collect their beans before the deadline.

Once the right amount of beans is collected, it can be exchanged for the following rewards:

Extras
- Making certain ships appear in the Setsubun bean menu options
Depending on certain conditions when selecting to use Setsubun beans in the item menu options, one of several possible kanmusu will appear on screen depending on the following conditions:
- If said ship is owned,
- Which ship is set as secretary.
The remodel of the displayed ships depends on what remodel said ship is effectively owned.
- If multiple remodels are owned then it is random.
Below are the lists of all possible girls who can appear on this menu screen:
