General Information

She is named after the tree Torreya nucifera[1].
She was launched on the 30th of July 1944.
Handed over to the Soviet Union as "Volevoy", on the 5th of July 1947.
She was decommissioned in 1959 and scrapped.

Kaya made her kanmusu debut in the KanColle Operation Rei-Go 1944 Stage play by C2, AVEX, and Club eX. She was portrayed on stage by actress Akaike Sayaka, who is also famous as the official cosplayer Kashima and part of the Kanmusu Yugekitai during KanColle live events.
