  • Named after the Drum fish.
  • She was launched on the 12th of May 1941.
  • She was decommissioned on the 16th of February 1946
  • Is a museum ship since the 14th of April 1969 at Mobile, Alabama

  • Survived World War II.
  • The bell seen around her neck is a reference to the real ship's bell.
  • The skull and crossbones on her uniform is a reference to the Jolly Roger seen on her battle flag.
  • A total of 12 stars can be seen on her thigh band/ahoge, a nod to the 12 battle stars she had earned during her service.
  • Her hair curls and her uniform's color scheme are thought to be references to the real ship's badge. This badge can be seen depicted on her left dive wing.
