Fall 2015 Event

The Fall 2015 Event will be taking place this coming mid-November. The date is set for November 18th,2015 and will be medium-scale. According according to a couple of vauge hints and clues that have been given out during several tweets since the start of November. The Kancolle Dev Team have hinted that the event will be taking place in a "circular island" in the Southern Seas. Within that location, there will be several battles and "transportation operations" that took place there.

With this hinted information, it is believed that the event map will be a series of battles that took place at Kolombangara.

If this hold true, then expect the majority of the events battles to consist of using smaller fleets to perform "Tokyo Express Runs." Since the most of the battles at Kolombongara were small engagements, it should be expected that the battles we will likely get to see during the event will include the Battle of Kula Gulf, The Battle of Kolombangara and the Battle of Vella Gulf.

It's strongly advised to have a well versed team of small ships at the ready as you will be most likely using destroyers and light cruisers for the majority of the battles. There also may a possibility that some maps will likely feature mostly / all night battles.

New Ships

• A new Training Cruiser has been announced.
  • This is likely to be one of the two remaining finished Katori Class training cruisers, the Kashima or the Kashii.
  • A less likely option would be the unfinished Kashihara.

• With the recent rumors that tie the event to Kolombangara, it is speculated an article from Comtique Magazine's September Issue made mention of a destoyer that worked along side Kawakaze and engaged in a furious night battle along side with her. The Battle of Vella Gulf ties this connection together as both of them sunk during middle of the night.
  • This make Kagerou-Class Destoyer Arashi a likely candidate to appear in this event.

Participation requirements

• Must have a 75% sortie win ratio.
• Must have 5 empty ship slots for new ships.
• Must have 20 free equipment slots.
