Introduction

大戦後期には、増大する敵機の脅威に対抗するため、後部主砲を降ろし、25mm対空機銃を可能な限り増備した駆逐艦も少なくありませんでした。
占有場所をとる大型の三連装機銃だけでなく、比較的小型の単装機銃も組み合わせて、近接対空火力の増大と航空攻撃などから艦の護りを高めます。

In the latter part of the war, many destroyers were equipped with as many 25 mm anti-aircraft guns as possible, removing their rear gun, in order to counter the increasing threat of enemy aircraft.
Combining not only a large autocannon mount that takes up space, but also the relatively small single-barreled machine guns, it increases the close-range anti-aircraft firepower and protects the ship from air attacks.
※This equipment is suitable for relatively small ships such as destroyers.

Mechanics

AA Guns are equippable in RE. They are mainly used to provide "Anti-Air", notably via their AA stat. They:

• Are notably required in most AACI.
• Trigger a tracer-fire effect during air combat.
• Bring an accuracy bonus against PT Imp.
• Is essential for AACI n° 47.
