Sandbox Rules

This sandbox is to be used to construct an event guide for the above-mentioned event map. These guides are to all of the following requirements:

  • An overview of the map, including ship/equipment bonuses, Ship Locks, and special mechanics,
  • List of branching unlocking requirements (if there are multiple requirements, compositions for each path along with the below requirements will be needed to discuss the unlocking requirements in question),
  • A list of working compositions that work: (T=these must have possible alternatives for players who may or may not have all ships needed for a specific path),
    • The Paths said compositions will take (to explain each path the composition will/can take),
    • A summary or description of what kind of obstacles a composition will face.
  • A description of the boss node: what it consists of, and a descriptive guide on what the player should consider for a course of action to successfully win the battle,
  • Optional: Tips/guides to farm certain ships and/or resources (this can also require compositions, paths, and possible descriptions).

Editors are to construct their own version of the guide/part of the guide, and complete it in a timely fashion.

No editor is allowed to edit over other editors' work without the consent of the editor and his approval to do so.

Several versions will be constructed through this page and will be reviewed and approved by the staff/collaboration committee before being moved for the Summer 2022 Event, being reviewed and updated once more before it can be released.

Overall there should be 3 versions of the guide that have to be constructed, including: Preliminary > Polished > Finalized Guides

With each approval of each version of the guide, the said guide will be updated to the main page, and construction of the next version will begin.

All guides outside of the approved version will be removed and work will begin from the approved version to make it better for the next version until the finalized version is made.

E6 has a total of 4 main phases. 2 Transport Operations & 2 Boss Killing phases.

  • This map uses three locks:

Notes
  • Equipping 3-5 ships with Anti-Installation setups is recommended.
    • As all variants of Landing Craft drain the same amount of TP, both the Damage and Transport requirement can be reached without much compromise.
  • 1 ASW LBAS may be sent to B to help deal with the submarines, while the other LBAS may be sent to the boss node G.
    • It is possible to keep the third LBAS in this Phase on Defense or otherwise inactive with the interception setup leftover from E5 to save on resources.

Phase 1.5: Unlock Path to S

Both the Supply Depot Princess C Vacation ModeSupply Depot Princess C Vacation Mode (SDH-C-vac) boss and the Anchorage Water Demon Vacation ModeAnchorage Water Demon Vacation Mode are "Installation-like warships" (see here).

  • They mostly behave like regular warships combat-wise, being notably not torpedo-immune anymore
  • They take additional damage from anti-installation equipment, see here,
  • Unlike their regular counterparts they do not take any "pre-cap" damage from anti-installation equipment
    • Therefore they cannot be nuked the same way
    • Using TCI including a Landing CraftLanding Craft / Amphibious VehicleTank is recommended to take them down effectively, see below:

How to defeat the "Supply Depot Princess C Vacation Mode"

The Supply Depot Princess C Vacation ModeSupply Depot Princess C Vacation Mode are classified as Installation-like warships and not regular Installations

  • She can now be hit by any regular surface-type attacks, such as torpedo-based ones.
  • Using anti-installation equipment like Landing Craft will inflict additional post-cap damage.
  • During the day battle phase it is difficult to damage her with Landing Crafts only.
  • During the night battle phase using Landing Crafts on ships equipped with a TCI or a DA is very effective.
    • For these ships it is important to have high firepower Firepower and high torpedo-power Torpedo Attack for better night attack effectiveness.
  • Torpedo Cut-Ins TorpedoesTorpedoesLanding Craft/TorpedoesTorpedoesAmphibious Vehicle can deal 1000 to 1500 damage to her.
  • Double Attacks of a 4-slot ships can deal 1000 to 2000 damage to her.

On Hard the first step is to reduce the HP of SDH-C-vac to near 4000 until the day-closing torpedo phase. After that she can be sunk by those special night attacks.

Phase 4: Final Battle against the Incomplete Battleship Princess
