Equipment Behaviours

Equipment Stats do not behave the same in expeditions as in regular battle. Notably, aircraft stats and Improvements are charged.

Adjusted Aircraft Stats

In expedition the Stats of aircraft will be affected by the aircraft's stats themself, the aircraft's Proficiency, and the aircraft count (slot size).

Affected aircraft are:

• Dive Bombers,
• / Torpedo Bombers,
• // Seaplanes,
• Large Flying Boats,
• Rotorcraft,
• Liaison Aircraft.

Since the adjusted stats for those aircraft are uncertain, it is not recommended to use them to bring the required stats to the fleet, as the real stat might be lower than the displayed one, missing the requirement.

So far, it is known the following for stats:

• The Firepower stat is unaffected and works as usual.
• The adjusted ASW stat is known, described below.
• The adjusted LoS stat seems to be affected by the aircraft count and proficiency.
• The stats given by aircraft Visible Bonuses seems to work as usual.

Adjusted ASW

Those formulas work for calculating the adjusted ASW for aircraft with Proficiency level of 0. If [math]\displaystyle{ \text{Plane}_\text{Count} = 0 }[/math]: [math]\displaystyle{ \text{ASW}_\text{Adj} = 0 }[/math] If [math]\displaystyle{ \text{Plane}_\text{Count} = 1 }[/math]: [math]\displaystyle{ \text{ASW}_\text{Adj} = \big\lfloor \text{ASW}_\text{Base} \times 0.65 \big\rfloor }[/math] If [math]\displaystyle{ \text{Plane}_\text{Count} ⩾ 2 }[/math]: [math]\displaystyle{ \text{ASW}_\text{Adj} = \big\lfloor \text{ASW}_\text{Base} \times \big( 0.65 + 0.1 \times \sqrt{ \text{Plane}_\text{Count} - 2} \big) \big\rfloor }[/math] With [math]\displaystyle{ \text{ASW}_\text{Adj} }[/math] the adjust ASW stat of the aircraft, [math]\displaystyle{ \text{ASW}_\text{Base} }[/math] the base ASW stat of the aircraft, [math]\displaystyle{ \text{Plane}_\text{Count} }[/math] the count of aircraft in a given slot [math]\displaystyle{ \text{Mod}_\text{Proficiency} }[/math] the Proficiency of the aircraft. Proficiency's effect is unknown yet but not negligible for ❱❱ aircraft.

The result of this adjustment is an ASW stat that can be up to +6 points higher, and down to -5 points lowers the displayed stat.

• The adjusted ASW for ❱❱ aircraft with 1 to 13 in any slot size configuration is given in the following table (measured values).

Notes

• All other equipment type improvements are unknown for expeditions.
• ASW for aircraft is uncertain as it is likely affected by the #Adjusted ASW.
